My name is James Hicks and I live in the US. I just wanted to let =
you know that I appreciate your diligence in keeping the spirit of =
Bastiat alive. I've been active in the Libertarian Party for the past 3 =
years and happened upon "The Law" by chance while browsing the books at =
Barnes and Noble. After reading the book, I went back to the store the =
next day and bought every copy they had!
If I hadn't read the cover and known the author of this book had =
been dead for many years I would have sworn that the book was written by =
a contemporary American. (My apoligies to the French!) Even after =
reading the cover, it would slip my mind and seem as if the author were =
alive even today. It was amazing how the books subject resonated through =
the years and had the same meaning and importance.
Well, I've spouted off enough. I just wanted to say Hey to =
everyone and thanks again for maintaing the information on the internet =
about Bastiat. As soon as I figure out how to get yall some Euros I plan =
on joining your Cercle. Merry Christmas and God bless us all with the =
gift of life, liberty, and prosperity in the coming year.
