Um, you have the wrong list -- this doesn't have anything to do with GC
(Garbage Collection).

Go look in your VC++ documentation under the index entry "filenames,
searching for".

Sometimes I need a program to look through files on a drive.   Kind of like
grep does when I type 
GREP "pattern to look for" d:\*.c

I'd like to learn to code the part that interprets and deals with "d:\*.c" .
Can someone recommend a book or
send me some samples with explanation?
