We are pleased to announce that the Fifth UK Memory Management
network (mm-net) workshop will be held in Glasgow on Thursday 14th July.
This is the first workshop since the network became self-funding,
and follows on from previous events in Glasgow, Kent, UCL, Cambridge
and Kent. The event will finish with a small reception honouring
Richard Jones for his work in establishing the network and his
contributions to the field of Memory Management.

mm-net is a network of researchers, interested in memory management for
programming languages. The project's mission is to strengthen collaboration
between UK industry and academia to further research and development of
advanced memory management systems. mm-net's previous workshops have been
highly successful in this respect, bringing together researchers with interests
ranging from logics for reasoning about memoory use to developers of embedded
systems.
