FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE.

INCLUDING NORTHWEST LASSEN NATIONAL FOREST.

A COMBINATION OF SWELL FROM AN INTENSE LOW PRESSURE AREA FAR SOUTH OF
THE ISLANDS COUPLED WITH STRONG TRADES FROM A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE
OVER THE ISLANDS ARE PRODUCING HIGHER THAN NORMAL SURFS.
THIS SYSTEM WILL BE THE FOCUS OF SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE WATCH AREA LATER TONIGHT.
FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH
MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA. LIGHT WINDS WILL CONTINUE. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH
MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS THROUGH THIS EVENING. MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WITH
INCREASING CLOUDS FROM THE SOUTH.
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ARE LIKELY WITH THIS ACTIVITY. IN SOUTHWEST
ARKANSAS. THESE DRY AND GUSTY CONDITIONS WILL POTENTIALLY CREATE
HAZARDOUS FIRE CONDITIONS. THIS CONVECTION HAS BEEN PRODUCING COPIOUS
AMOUNT OF RAINFALL WEDNESDAY EVENING AND COULD PRODUCE FLOOD PRODUCING
RAINFALL LATER TONIGHT ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE WATCH AREA.
INCREASING THE SOUTHWESTERLY GRADIENT ACROSS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY. WINDS HAVE
DIMINISHED THIS EVENING ACROSS NORTHWEST ARIZONA AND ARE EXPECTED TO
REMAIN RELATIVELY LIGHT OVERNIGHT.

ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL TO RECEIVE VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN A SHORT
AMOUNT OF TIME. LOW HUMIDITIES AND GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS ACROSS THE
BURNEY BASIN AND THE NORTHEAST PLATEAU IN SHASTA COUNTY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE
ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA. SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHEAST TEXAS.
WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OCCURRING ALONG THE ALABAMA TENNESSEE STATE
LINE IN LAUDERDALE AND LIMESTONE COUNTIES.
