This is different from the error message I got (*very* :-))
I got something like unrgecognised exception, or something
like that. Still, you're running a later version of the OS than I am,
so it's still *possible* that it's the same problem. Given that you
have some smaller partitions available, it might be interesting to try
installing something on one of them.

I'm using HD SC setup 7.35, patched for use with non-Apple
disks. It doesn't seem very complex, but I wouldn't say that I miss
any functionality, either :-)

I have much the same feeling about MacOS. I have been told
that 8.1 is better, so I'll probably upgrade at some point. Still, I
don't expect to use the Mac parts of the machine much.
