From tenagle at msn.com Mon Sep 1 10:07:28 2014 From: tenagle at msn.com (Timothy E. Nagle, Ph.D.) Date: Mon, 1 Sep 2014 12:07:28 -0500 Subject: [LispM] Repair Symbolics 3630 console? Message-ID: I am looking for someone who can repair a Symbolics 3630 console. As I described in previous posts, the 3630 itself sounds like it works: the run light turns on, the fault light turns off, the disk spins up and the heads sound like they are seeking and reading. However the console shows no indication of life. Is anyone able to attempt repairs on the console? Question: Are all the console electronics contained in the console itself or are there cards in the 3630 chassis that also control the console? Thanks, Tim Nagle (952) 881-4648 (home phone, feel free to call any time before 10:00pm Central) tenagle at msn.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Does it use the same console as a 3640/3645? -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ/3 New Kensington, PA
