[LispM] NFS file version: naming conventions

Greetings Everyone,

I have been looking at the file naming conventions for versioned files
(those in a directory ending with .sct), and wonder if there is a way to
change the .~N~ naming convention? I know this was (probably) done because
ancient filesystems couldn't deal with .1, .2, etc., but these days nearly
any NFS capable system can, and it would be easier on the eyes and fingers
to use the 'original' LMFS style of naming backups.

Anyone done this, or have any ideas?

Cheers,

*	SteveN
