Thanks Alfred. Those are Chaosnet; a step closer. I was hoping for a TCP/IP implementation so I can work on files on a UNIX machine without needed NFS. A few hours searching yesterday did not turn up anything. It wouldn't be hard to munge FILE into talking TCP/IP. The full protocol is well documented, even for TCP. https://lm-3.github.io/NFILE.html
