Not to belabor the point, but Alpha systems are hardly expensive. A system identical with my AlphaStation 200 4/166 costs almost nothing these days and would run OpenGenera admirably. I used to have a 3620 at home until it died, and would actually pay for an OpenGenera license, but Symbolics price was something insane (>$5000) the last time I checked. Jeff Katcher jkatcher@nt.com
