All the more reason to create a new Lisp VM around a portable wordcode format.
Ubiquity is the goal and binary portability is a prime requirement.

Folks interested in this ought to go ahead and subscribe to LispVM and get the
ball rolling. LispOS is a wonderful idea, and one I really want to see
implemented, but only the web-enabled LispVM can hope to promote Lisp Ubiquity
to the non-Lisping, Win32, Mac and UNIX Universe!
