That's basically how I feel too.  The GPL takes a stand against the
idea that anybody should be able to own software.  The FSF is also on
a crusade against software patents, although that's a different issue.
Everybody has the right to agree or disagree with those standpoints.
I just don't buy the arguments that it does anything for the chances
of LispOS, to adopt GPL.
