   Thanks for providing this excellent reference
   for those unfamiliar with Symbolics Lisp machines.

The funniest part of the memo is:

    "Future programs are likely to be quite a bit bigger; intelligent
    systems with natural language front ends may well be five or ten
    times the size of a PDP-10 address space."

The PDP-10 had an 18-bit address space of 36-bit words:  About one
megabyte.
