Hello

Congratulations!

One of our members has posted a link to your website, Review of Operating Systems,
on MERLOT as a distinguished, high-quality source of
learning material.

The MERLOT project (http://www.merlot.org) is an online community of faculty who are
collaborating to increase the quantity of high quality web-based, interactive
teaching and learning materials. Our primary audience is teachers and learners
anywhere who are interested in using technology in higher education.

Benefits to faculty authors include feedback from peers and students, professional
recognition from discipline communities linked to professional organizations and
our peer review process.

We were recently featured in University Business, July/August 2000, in an article
entitled "Swap Shop" (http://www.universitybusiness.com/0007/merlot.html), and in
The Chronicle of Higher Education, July 28, 2000, "New Project Brings Peer Review to
Web Materials for Teaching" (page A56).

We invite you to become a member of the MERLOT community. Simply go to the
website, http://www.merlot.org, click on "become a member", and fill in your name and
e-mail address. This will allow you to add more material ? of your own or others
- and also add user reviews.

If you would like more information, please see our website at http://www.merlot.org,
or feel free to contact me directly webmaster@merlot.org.
