Some interesting remarks can be found on the page
of a defunct project, where the reasons of the
failure are analyzed and conclusions are drawn. Also,
the project "in se" is interesting, "a sub-level to an operating
system entirely written in assembly for IA-32 on standard
AT computers...Targeted at the embedded devices with
meager resources, the Unununium Operating Engine was
aimed at reducing the overhead normally associated with
the use of shared libraries and kernel services". Meaning:
SASOS 100% runtime reloadable.

http://uuu.sourceforge.net/ - final considerations
http://uuu.sourceforge.net/old_index.php/ - old hompage
with source, papers, etc (seemingly well documented)
