One more thing, this new syntax and semantics for Slate may seem like just
a small improvment on what Self and Smalltalk offer, but the truth is that
the bootstrapped 'full' language will have a lot of powerful features,
including optional arguments and a macro facility at least as powerful as
Lisp's.

There's also the factor that multi-methods increase expressive power quite
a bit, and have a great effect when applied to the library design.

Just to clarify any doubts as to why this is being done.
