Slate's dormancy

Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know that Slate is not forgotten. Actually,
it's in the process of bootstrapping at the moment, and generally we have
frozen the library and feature set until that is working, since it
influences many of the design issues.

That is unless, of course, we turn out to need new libraries for the
bootstrap. In any case, the recent code will be released when we can do
it.
