Upcoming binary release

I've updated the README file to include instructions for building Slate as
necessary. Also, the "slate2.lisp" has superceded the old interpreter
file, which is still tagged in CVS so it can be used, but we are going to
maintain the compiler now as a priority.

Go ahead and try out the build process, and let us know what is confusing
or what steps may be missing or what doesn't work.
