Yes, the method is obviously not getting replaced in this case. I wouldn't
worry too much about it unless you have a dire need for this feature
before the bootstrap.

Just out of curiosity, you said you liked both Smalltalk and Self, but it
seems like you've never actually used either of them. So why do you like
Slate?
