Problem with "Image save &name:"

I have just tried Slate, just after cvs update
and copied files from 28 sept. in download/alpha directory.
I have a simple problem.
I do:
./vm little.image
followed by:
Image save &name: 'my.image'.
This get me out of slate with a file of 1246800 bytes. That's Ok.
But when I try ./vm my.image it just return
to next line, showing the Bash prompt, doing nothing.

Am I alone to have this problem?
