Makefile platform issue

Hi Nick,

"make clean" in the top-level Makefile does not recurse to the  
platform makefile clean rule, which means that slatevm.h in includes/  
may become stale, causing build problems for end users. The other  
makefile targets also do not recurse, so this may lead to more  
problems. Do you have any suggestions for a general fix? A simple  
patch is welcome if that's all you can foresee to do.
