My little survey..

Dear All

Basically, everyone who responded coherently felt that the topic
needed more discussion. Mike's "first attempt" in C is seen as an
illustration, rather than as being definitive. We have several 80x86
programmers, but little else in the assembly language department.
Jecel seems to have vast experience but is (alas) busy elsewhere!
Apologies if I missed out anyone in my informal little survey.

My basic thesis (that if we are going to have a unifying language, we
should first define it before getting down to coding) remains
unchanged, but seeing as I'm in a minority of one, I guess I'll shut
up and see what Mike produces! Maybe I'll tinker a bit myself.

Bye for now, JVS.
