Whenever I think of EROS, I imagine how much better the performance
could be for the "heavily modular case" if there was a way to optimize
across the 'capability envoke' boundary. Of course this isn't easily
possible in EROS, because the code on either side of that boundary is
machine code.
However, for the original poster, perhaps the above description will
spark some new thoughts.
