I agree with you Fare (although my opinion is hardly relavent). And your NOT-UNIX config management system sounds more manageable... I have a few questions tho. Why is the LISP (or similar) machine not widely used?? How come UNIX is?? And for very useful and important tasks too. Where is the NOT-UNIX config management system (I want one)?? cheers, SDH
