No Way!
I *Assert* that this OS project still lives!!!!
While I toil my days away at my menial dead-end job, I still spend an average of
two hours a day reading my books.
The current focus of my research is high-level software development. I am trying
to figure out how to actually implement a dynamic software system that while
being abstract and portable is able to be compiled in such a way that it is
independant of any external run-time environment (unless it becomes necessary to
implement such an environment). In that case it must be able to load and link if
not compile code stored on disk.
As of now I am leaning towards some form of LISP system. I really don't know
and time is moving fast! =( I ask you all to contribute if not for me, for your
own personal enrichment, a study of the questions that I am struggeling with.
I have set asside FORTH for a possible low level system, and ML is out of the
picture, C*/J* was developed by clowns.... I hope to get a book on prolog with
my earnings. Also Smalltalk has been mentioned as an interesting language.
Anyway, Please at least respond with a few mubeling lines about what your
current OS related activities are and what, if any, assistance you may benefit
from. =)

As usual: flame me to get off the list, but make sure that your intentions are
explicitly stated... I would probably respond normally to any other flame.
