Hey, 

Lemme explain more about why I am looking to start or take ownership of
an OS list.

The root problem is that I have nothing better than windoze 3.11 to run
on my computer. =( 

Auxilary problems to this are these: 
-- Psychotic morons think linux is a suitable replacement. 
-- People who seek to design a suitable replacement OS have difficulty
focusing on the Real Problems because of all the details that bog their
efforts down. Specificaly: PC hardware, Boot sectors, and 386 p-mode
managment.

I hope to fix all of this with a project that I am calling MetaOS...
It will be an extremely powerful DOS extender that will allow the system
designer to operate the hardware at a high level and then procede to
implement a portable software environment without ever having to write
any low-level code. Should the designer be successful at developing such
an environment he can use it to solicit venture capitol and then deliver
his solution with highly efficient custom hardware. =)
