It would have been nice to have published this first. Thanks for the 
kindness in your reply. But, I'm not really an academic. My motivation 
for working on this was not so much to publish it as to use it. 
Collecting distributed cycles is essential for a practical distributed 
programming. So, in one way I'm grateful that you beat me to it. It 
means that I can skip the research and proceed on to design and 
implementation. I definitely expect to contact you about this off-line.
