[LispM] VLM on Mac

Greetings all,

I’m happy to see that there are others working with the emulators on Mac. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Genera login screen after only half a day (not including research). There is still a lot missing though (NFS, etc), and I saw reference to one (two?) readme files from a thread in November last year<http://lists.tunes.org/archives/lispm/2014-November/000157.html>. Does anyone have these readme’s handy and mind sending them to me?

Finally, a question for those of you that have got the emulator running as it should (whether on Mac or Linux): is this stable enough for real work? I don’t need to deploy systems to production, since it is just for research, but I do need something that isn’t going to crash unexpectedly. Being able to resize the screen and set resolutions would be nice too.

Does DKS (Symbolics) recommend or have an emulator, or is it something like linux->tru64->LVM? I.e. Run the Tru64 version of OG via one of the emulation solutions?

Regards,
- Steve
