   Alfred, how would you suggest I use IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) to
   clean the keyboard?

Use some lint free swab, and clean it out; press the key several times
so that the alcohol gets through everywhere.  Contact cleaner might do
as well depending on the type, use the non-sticky stuff that doesn't
leave behind a residue.

After cleaning, using some light lubricatant would be a good idea.
Sewing machine oil or similar is nice and mild.
