Ok... here's another topic...

There is still the discussion about whether to use
Lisp or Scheme.  Personally, I'm leaning toward Scheme
because I believe

1) The distributions are usually simpler and should be
   easier to hack.

2) Scheme continuations make a nicer way to handle
   multi-threading.

But before any such decisions can be made, we need more info
about various Lisp or Scheme distributions that would be
suitable.  So can people name a few Lisp or Scheme distributions
that are:

1) simple enough to hack

2) supports multi-threading

3) has a liberal copyright (GPL or BSD-style license) so
   we can use it.

Guile is a possibility, but what are a few others?
