I agree that this is true.  I certainly don't think that ALL this 
project needs is promotion.  I was commenting on Rainer's goal of having
a single "rallying point" web presence address and also his comment that
every CS student should know about this project.  I think those two 
things would go a long way to gathering the project momentum.

If running code exists on a machine that nobody knows about is it running
code?
