Scsh?

Has anyone looked at Scsh? It's a Unix shell, well, it's really a
Scheme 48 system with hooks to the OS. You can type Scheme commands at
the prompt or write scripts... The commands to launch apps seem a bit
alien if your used to bash, but usable. It mostly compiles (had to
comment out two lines of code...hasn't killed it yet but who knows) on
RedHat 5.
Could this be used as an example of where we want to go initially?
Go to any search engine and look for it...infoseek returns a bunch of
hits.
