Thank you very much Robert and technical staff at DIKU,
with your information I have solved the problem.
The problem is that my ISP doesn't pair a symbolic name
to every dinamically assigned IP address. Thus the IP
address result not registered (a nslookup return: "No
reverse DNS (WSANO_DATA)" ) and your ftp server doesn't
grant the access (for security reason I imagine).
Accessing the ftp server via my ISP proxy, which has a
symbolic name, solves the problem, even if in a not
completely satisfactory way (the proxy is a little slow
and, worse, doesn't support resuming, so usually I don't
use it). Of course, this is a problem with my ISP, I
inform you and the technical staff at DIKU just in case
someone else in the future will have the same problem:
a proxy is an effective solution.
Again, thanks for the help.
