Brick update (or what passes for one around here ;-)

Well, my little hardware project is creeping along evere-so-slowly.
I'm at the stage of setting up my CAD system with some of the chips I
have decided to use. All those fiddly little ADCs and stuff for
battery monitoring and things. The digital I/O bits will likely be
easier - I'll use a FPGA. I've pretty much settled on an ARM-based
CPU.

I am also considering getting an off-the-shelf PocketPC and refitting
it with a propper-sized LCD (ie 256 pixels wide - I'm finnicky about
this point, I do have reasons, though whether they are good ones is
debatable ;-). Not every feature I want (and several I don't need),
but close enough for a prototype, maybe.

I made some changes to my brick page:
http://www.shoalhaven.net.au/~glenalec/brick/
:mainly reflecting my decision to support an even smaller screen than
512x384 (as low as 256x256 now).

Down near the bottom of the page are some ideas on the UI I would like
to see (with mock-ups of screen shots). Anyone here who wants to
comment is welcome. I don't know if my UI ideas are good or not. I'm
always open to suggestions.

Regards, Glenn
(Looking forward to the 0.1 binary release - great work)
