I fixed a GNU emacs partial incompatibility (it only raised a  
warning), but introduced a typo this afternoon which is now fixed. If  
you ran into that, it should work again now.

I've also noticed that only very recent darcs versions will mark  
scripts executable that start with #!. So I'll probably have to write  
up a little darcs hook script to fix that up for tarballs and releases.

Also note that the elisp file for this, etc/slate-startup.el, makes a  
good template for customizing emacs in general, so we don't have to  
point users to a wiki page or whatever.

Bleh, all of this really needs to be made obsolescent by a proper IDE  
and editor. :) Hopefully that will be soon.
