patch for missings test1.slate and test2.slate in SDL code

Unicode would be an annoying limit. I asked around on their chat 
channel and didn't get too far, except that DARCS does support some use 
of UTF-8, although no one is sure if every field is supported. Let me 
know if you narrow the problem down to a tool or something.
