The reference I had given for the Leda language was incomplete.
The real URL is:

   <a href=http://www.cs.orst.edu/~budd/leda.html>
   Leda Project, Timothy Budd, Oregon State Univeristy
   </a>

Most of the meaty chapters of the book are not available online,
and I have read only a little of what is there. So far it looks
like a variation of Object Pascal - I didn't see how it unifies
OOP and Functional Programming.

I have been wondering about how you can make money distributing
objects. I know most people on this list prefer free things, but
the fact is that commercial software always win against an
equivalent free one! I explained my ideas to a friend, and he
said Brad Cox ( of Objective-C fame ) had published articles
about the same thing. After looking around I found this:

   <a href=http://gopher.gmu.edu:80/bcox/CEM/OOCEM.html>
   Coalition for Electronic Markets
   </a>

The papers to be presented in the Meta'95 workshop at ECOOP
( including the final draft of mine ) can be found by starting at:

   <a href=http://www.dsg.cs.tcd.ie/~czimmerm/meta95/sched.html>
   Meta'95 Schedule
   </a>
