Well, Rene'! Now you know how building my own hardware and writing
my own assembler for my project actually *saved* me a lot of time :-) :-)

This is a big mistake! Forget the BIOS. I know it is easy for me to
say this as I know the PC's hardware details very well. But I think
it will ruin Tunes if it switches to real mode for IO. If you set up
the IDT properly and take a look at the Linux source, for example, I
think you will waste less time than in your current approach. And
remember, if you include this "feature" in the first Tunes release
you will be surprised at how hard it will be to get rid of it in the
future!
