Hi,
did anybody notice the Universal Networking Language (UNL)-project of the United Nations University (UNU)? There is a press release (PI/1097; UNU/189; United Nations University Insitute for Advanced Studies to demonstrate Operation of Universal Networking Language; 1998-11-19) at the complicated link:
http://www.un.org/plweb-cgi/idoc.pl?1913+unix+_free_user_+www.un.org..80+un+un+pr1998+pr1998++Universal#&adj&Networking#&adj&Language#
Since it is a method to store information, which is part of what a system shall do, it may interest someone in this group. At least me, who thought of it many years ago. If you find any information going in more detail about the structure of UNL and the universal words (UW) itself, please tell me, since i am hungry for that.
Maybe UNL is a subject for the review subproject. (BTW: On the review-page the "Pad++" and "Pad Interface" are identical, but anyhow not working links).
Kun afablaj salutoj
