Abstraction itself is a must. Any dependency on a piece of software
which does not help to define what the program does is barrier to
"code" reuse. In short, almost all software written for unix or
windows are not resuable because they depend on the OS they were
written for. 

It looks like our goal is the minimisation of dependencies between
pieces of software. Can this be achieved with a program ?
