All looks cool!  I agree with your intent and goals.  Unfortunately I
won't be able to directly assist, as my path is that of Scheme, at
least for the nonce.  Nothing wrong with several parallel developments
though, apart from a bit of wasted effort.  Fortunately, for moderate
sized programs, translation between Scheme and CL shouldn't be that
difficult, so maybe we can still get some synergy happening.
