Some questions on Slate syntax

So when I look into, say, a matchbox and count that there are 0 matches
in it, I'm not observing anything?


Anyway, isn't this discussion a bit redundant as long as Slate's indexing
semantics is not going to be changed? I sincerely hope it isn't going to
be changed.
