Ops! My fault, my memory was wrong. Roger Penrose is first of all
a physicist. He is used to enter into debate about deep problems
in AI (well, against AI), philosophy of mind, consciousness and
related arguments. His conclusion is that human thought cannot be
simulated by any computation because they cannot capture the inherent
quantum mechanics aspect of biological matter (I hope I'm not distorting
his argument).
